KAMEECHI - 16 Diamonds (Produced by S. I. D. of the Superiors prod. Slick Rick, Queen Latifah, Naughty By Nature)

S.I.D. OF THE SUPERIORS DISSECTS THE AMBIENCE, DRUMS, AND PROCESS BEHIND KAMEECHI’S “16 DIAMONDS”

Since becoming an official production team, The Superiors have already amassed credits with artists like Lloyd Banks, Fabolous, French Montana, Uncle Murda, and T.I in a mere matter of years. The duo prides themselves in being able to adapt to any sound or style, pushing themselves to work with a broad range of artists both in and outside of rap music. “We can’t stay in a box,” says S.I.D. “It’s a much bigger world out there than just hip-hop. We just try to be open to whatever we’re feeling right now.”
Through their combined experience, The Superiors have developed a keen ear for talent that stands out in an over-saturated industry. So their curiosity was immediately piqued when Black Count founder Roget Romain introduced them to a rising star on his imprint named Kameechi. “There’s something special about Kameechi,” says S.I.D. “When I met him and I spoke with him I felt the presence of an old soul, man. The kid is young, but I spoke to him I felt like I was speaking to a peer.” ...

KAMEECHI - 16 DIAMONDS
Bling
Blaow
Ha
Ooh
Ha
Ooh
Yeah Yeah
Hook
16 diamonds on my wrist
Ain’t nobody thought that I would shine like this
Cocaine seats I can’t keep it all clean at all
Dripping all this sauce yeaa I’m going let it fall
How did I survive man how the hell I know it
I was down at the bottom came up n I ain’t have to Show it
Now that I’m on fuck that I’m goin show it off
Dripping all this sauce yeaa I’m goin let it fall
I’m going let it
Verse 1.
Bounce in my face
All these one hundreds i know you don’t want It to go to waste
Keep the champagne coming cause it’s a fucking celebration
Celebrate that fucking struggle time and dedication
Back to the lituation i put purple in my Up
I think i put way too much and now I’m stuck
I think i think way too hard
About the shit that needs to get done
I’m the game all this pain then It change from all these
Big damn chains on me i put all my work in
Finally my moment i can tell you hurting
I can tell you try to hide It but i can see the feeling surface
Got the whole team wavy surfing
Got they whole team feeling nervous
Bitch I’m working for these
Hook
16 diamonds on my wrist
Ain’t nobody thought that I would shine like this
Cocaine seats I can’t keep it all clean at all
Dripping all this sauce yeaa I’m going let it fall
How did I survive man how the hell I know it
I was down at the bottom came up n I ain’t have to Show it
Now that I’m on fuck that I’m going show it off
Dripping all this sauce yeaa I’m going let it fall
I’m going let it
Verse 2
I need a drink for the things i deal with on the daily basis
My day is rarely basic man the shit is crazy i need more of that
You ain’t dealing with the ordinary on a mission to bring order back
Yea I’m the one that thought her that
I don’t been through It like a quarterback yo
People believe assumptions quicker than the truth
If you ain’t part my circle stay the fuck from out my loop
Stay the fuck from out my lane i got way too much to do
Way too much weight on my shoulders
All these big damn chains on me it feel like it’s freedom
Mix that with the chronic i finally found treedom
You can tell I’m zoning
From the early morning till like 3 something
Fuck these bitches by the 3 some
Holla at me if you need some yeah yeah yeah
Hook
16 diamonds on my wrist
Ain’t nobody thought that I would shine like this
Cocaine seats I can’t keep it all clean at all
Drippin all this sauce yeaa I’m goin let it fall
How did I survive man how the hell I know it
I was down at the bottom came up n I ain’t have to Show it
Now that I’m on fuck that I’m goin show it off
Drippin all this sauce yeaa I’m goin let it fall
I’m going let it
